Fox Creek Bike Park
DESIGN & CONSTRUCT
Here at Dirtwork Landscapes, we love to ride, so we were very excited to help improve the functionality, accessibility and safety of the existing Visitor centre and surrounds at Fox Creek Bike Park.
It was a collaborative project with @ForestrySA and Human Projectile MTB club, to design and construct the infrastructure and flow of the space.
With the views of the surrounding forest that is slowly regenerating after the 2019 fires, it is a great spot to take in the views after a ride sipping on your water bottle.
And with the new adaptive trail network recently opened, before the heat of summer settles, it is surely a good time to check out the trails! 🚲🌳⛰️

While the bones of the play space were intact, a few design tweeks were needed to make this space special.
A local Community garden was the inspiration behind the Design Concept, creating a place where shade trees will provide a natural canopy for play and investigation for the children of St Marks.

🌳 A visit to Peramangk country/Adelaide Hills a while back to a small job for a small school. We love the enthusiasm at @lobethallutheranschool and the flexibility that came with this Design and Construction to ensure we fit their budget and the constraints of the site.
Hopefully the second stage isn’t too far away!!

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION Earlier this year our team spent time in Gladstone, SA to deliver two new play spaces designed exclusively for the children and educators @ St Joseph`s Parish School. The @adventureplus_aus symmetry climber was selected to facilitate upper body and motion play while reducing our time away from base. Our thanks again to St Joseph`s staff and the Dirtwork design / construction teams for another wonderful playspace.
Alberton Primary School_ Landscape Design
🌈 So excited to see this project come to fruition!!
We started on this project in 2021! Wow, remember those days? 😷
We were invited to help design the playspace in an amazing partnership with Alberton Primary School, the Department of Education and @cityofpae.
Lots of collaboration with the student government…we even got to work with the school Prime Minister!
So fast forward to 2024, we were invited to the Grand Opening of their new space.
It looks amazing! Thanks @lcslandscapes for bringing all the dreams and designs of the students to life!
