The design process begins with a meeting between the designer, the client and the garden space. This will take about 2 hours.Here we discuss what you want from your garden and some ideas are thrown around.A detailed site analysis, photos and site measurements are undertaken.What may be discussed:

• Your plan, your lifestyle, how you want to use the garden
• The limitations of the outdoor space
• Practical needs of the space ie: pergola, retaining, screening
• The feeling you want from the garden, whether you want to have a relaxing garden or a garden for entertaining
• What type of plants you wish to incorporate; native, productive, exotic
• How to consider water conservation
• Your budget
